Beginning Basics: Connecting With The Right people

One of the primary beginner’s basics to remember when looking to make money on the internet should be to locate people you can follow, learn from, and emulate. They are ethical marketers that truly work at long term relationships with every client they deal with. These marketers value their clients and will stop at nothing short of pleasing them. Most real Internet Marketers over-deliver as well. IMers have found that when they give, people will respond.

For instance, I don’t know if you can remember when local merchants put customers first at all cost. This was simply done to build customer relations. I know, times have change somewhat, but these same merchants are still active and doing well because of the care they give to their customers. Sure, it may take a little longer this way, but this kind of merchant thinks long term. There are reasons for this strategy.

One primary reason for this type of marketing is because of the end result, repeat customers. These are people that will buy from you time and time again without fail. When merchants think short term, they end up with people who buy one time, never to return again. So the name of the game truly is about adding that personal touch. These are the marketers you should follow if you truly want to make top dollars and gain respect. In stead of hunting for new customers, you can be spending your time making good money.

Try looking for people in some marketing forums where you can learn who is who. For instance, The Warrior Forum, owned by Allen Says, is a great place to get your feet wet. If you follow some of the member’s posts for a few days, it’s very easy to tell who the better internet marketers are by what they post and how they word their posts.

Another thing you can always do to double check each marketer is to visit their sites in their signature files. You can find each member’s sig. file under their post. A signature file is that little captioned area under people’s posts that usually have clickable links that lead to a website. Once you become a member, you can add your own signature file in your profile section. There should be a definition of what a sig. file is and directions on how to set one up in your profile on the main part of the forum. This information can be found in what we call sticky notes, and usually posted in each main section of the forum. If you cannot find them, ask and someone will help you.

Check to see if they remind you of one of those off line merchants I discussed a minute ago. Do they sound like they care about their customers, or do their deals sound too good to be true? If any deal sounds too good to be true, it usually is. The best advice I can give you is “stay away” from these people. They will usually end up steering you wrong. You can always post a question asking for advice about who are the top Internet Marketers. Again, I’m sure many people will give you their honest opinion.

After you scope out a couple of people, try following them to see if they hold true to their word. Remember, someone’s word is still a high point in recognizing someone’s character. If they are steady, latch on to them, sign up for their Newsletter, and start asking them questions. The majority of quality marketers will help you along. For instance, Allen Says, Willie Crawford, BigMike (Mike Kotzakolios), bkay (Brenda King), Jeffery Ash, Dennis Lively, Mr Unconventional (Dave Ray), Jeff Usher, Kevin Riley, and Josh Anderson, would give the shirts off of their backs to anyone in need. Just remember to stick with the winners, and you should be well on your way.
